Tough Old Bird!

Grandpa in intensive care at Punxutawney Hospital. He needed to get 4 units of blood. He didn't look this good when he was admitted.









Grandpa was discharged on Fri. Aug. 3rd
and he was putting the binding on his quilt
on Aug. 4th and we delivered quilts to
the fair in the afternoon.















Guess it was worth the effort-Grandpa
got a first place ribbon on his quilt and
he was in consideration with 2 other quilts
for Best of Show. One of these days.
Then we will surely have to buy him
a bigger hat. Yippee-Ki-Yay! Alek.
