Jesse's 75th Birthday

The morning started with making a family recipe for redcake.




I began adding the flour but...after putting some in the cake the rest of the flour fell on the floor. I considering trying to pick it up but since it had sunk into the rug, I decided it wasn't a good idea. I wasn't sure how much flour I had already added so I wasn't sure how much more to add. I did the best I could with what I had hoped would be a "special" 75th birthday cake. Then I forgot and stepped into the flour with my bare foot. YUK!











Here is the Birthday Boy! We have been coming to this restaurant for the last couple years for prime rib when the restaurant we had gone to for more than 25 years closed. We were so disappointed when we were told they no longer served it! Rotten red cake and no prime rib!
