Uncle Ronnie

This is the family that was able to be there for the interment. We are in IL for my 45th class reunion but we came early for Uncle Ronnie's interment.

This is a picture of Uncle Ronnie in his younger days. If you are old enough to remember James Dean, that is who he resembles.

Trip to Houston MO

Grandpa at Big Piney River

Grandpa and his younger brother, Mel, at Big Piney River in Houston MO. Mel said that Big Piney is the only river in MO that flows from south to north.

Grandma at Big Piney River

After visiting Big Piney River, we went to the graveyard and took pictures of gravestones of deceased family members-doesn't that sound exciting! Grandpa was born in the house that once stood in this area. He said that stump in the front was one of 2 orginal birch trees that stood in front of the house.
